JOSEPH TETI BIOGRAPHY
Joseph is a veteran of both US military and US government special operations units. He is a former Force Recon Marine, Army Special Forces ‘Green Beret’, and a former operative with the CIA’s Special Activities Division / Special Operations Group (Ground Branch). Less than 1% of all special operations forces members in all 4 of the armed services combined (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines) have successfully passed the grueling mental, physical and psychological requirements to become a Ground Branch operator. In the event an SAD/SOG operative is compromised during a mission, the US government may deny all knowledge of their activities. Security experts consider the SAD/SOG the premier covert action, ‘black ops’ unit in the world.
While serving with the SAD/SOG he deployed to OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom) in Iraq, and OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom) in Afghanistan and numerous other countries in the Middle East and Africa. He planned and conducted a broad range of DA (Direct Action) special operations missions covering the entire operational continuum. Operations of this nature required a rapid response with a surgical application of a wide variety of unique skills, while maintaining the lowest possible profile of U.S. involvement, in high consequence, zero compromise environments against national level threats. He has held a TOP SECRET-SCI with polygraph security clearance, the highest security clearance awarded by the U.S. government. He has attended over 40 formal schools in regards to special operations.
Joseph was a primary instructor for the US Army Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat (SFAUC) course. His duties included teaching combat marksmanship (carbine/pistol), principles of CQB, breaching (explosive, mechanical, ballistic), mission planning and target analysis, setting isolation, assaulters roles and responsibilities, low light/no light operations and more.
In 2009 Joseph was hired to conduct a 3 month assessment and validation of the UAE (United Arab Emirates) Special Operations School in Al Ain, UAE. He was responsible for providing senior leadership a detailed report on how to improve their SOPs, TTP’s (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures) management structure, organizational chart, fitness program’s and other critical infrastructure of the school.
In 2010 Joseph was hired to advise the United States Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) during a pre-deployment certification exercise prior to conducting combat operations in a real world theater overseas. He was responsible for advising and training MARSOC operators on Close Quarters Battle, Foreign Internal Defense, Advanced Force Operations, Special Reconnaissance and other METL tasks.
